About

My Story

Hi, I'm Elyor. I'm 19 years old and started my journey in software engineering about two years ago. I initially gained a foundation in backend development at Mohirdev and touched upon DevOps at School 21, but I soon realized I would do better in QA than building backend or working with server

This realization led me to shift my entire focus to QA engineering. I continued my path at School 21, where I successfully completed the full manual testing curriculum. I found that QA offers incredible opportunities to deeply understand product quality from the inside out.

Today, I actively apply my knowledge to real-world products through freelancing, open-source projects, and platforms like uTest. I cover web, API, and mobile testing—specializing in writing comprehensive test cases, designing test plans, and catching critical bugs before they ever reach production.

To future-proof my career, I am currently leveling up my skills in test automation, with the ultimate goal of transitioning into an SDET role.

Works

E2E Manual Testing — roadmap.sh
  • Requirements Analysis: Analyzed 120+ software requirements to design a comprehensive feature breakdown and a risk-focused test plan.
  • Test Case Execution: Created and executed 127 manual test cases covering 6 core modules, validating functionality on the live application.
  • Defect Management: Discovered, documented, and reported 18 bugs with clear steps to reproduce, environment specs, and severity levels.
  • Exploratory Testing: Conducted session-based exploratory testing focusing on data inputs, edge cases, and UI usability across web and mobile layouts.

In Progress
  • Professional workflow: Testing exactly the way it happens on a professional engineering team — making decisions, observing behaviors, and raising the right questions.
  • Judgment-driven: Not memorizing definitions — building real QA judgment through hands-on API exploration, structured defect analysis, and edge case discovery.
